Dan Bridges – Manager

My name is Daniel Bridges am I am the new Home Manager, qualified to level 5 in Leadership & Management. I also hold many other, relevant qualifications for my post, which include the Dementia Leadership Award.

I am always looking to improve and self-develop myself so that I always achieve the best possible outcome in care home management. I have a great passion for dementia care and managing of the highest standard, to ensure all of the regulated activity and legal requirements are met.

My purpose is to make sure Bradeney House provides the residents with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and I will always be looking for new ways in which I can improve the service. I have a vision to make Bradeney House an award winning care home of the future.

I have a great wealth of turnaround experience from previous employments within the Health & Social Care Sector.

I pride myself in that my previous care home became an award winning care home, meeting all of the CQC fundamental standards. In 2016 the home won 3 awards for its outstanding delivery of dementia care and also Team of the year.

In May 2017 we won a further four awards, one of which I am extremely proud of winning myself, which was the Outstanding Contribution Award, for which I was nominated by a staff team and directors.

The ethos that I shared with all of my staff team was, “We work in the resident’s home, they do not live in our workplace”.

I operate an open door policy to my staff team and relatives and you are welcome at any time to come and discuss your relatives’ needs. I will always be happy to assist you in whatever way possible.
